My new rims :3

Alright! After hours and hours of work i finally finished painting my rims. In my opinion, they look amazing on the car.

Tools & Materials used:

• Grit 140 sanding paper
• Grit 400 sanding paper
• 2 rolls of masking tape
• Stanley knife 
• 1 can MoTip gray primer
• 1 can MoTip High Gloss Black paint (spokes)
• 1 can MoTip Steelwheel special rim paint (edges)
• 1 can MoTip Clear Varnish
• 1 Bottle of terpentine for degreasing
• Lots of clean (throw-away) rags!

Here's what i started off with, lots of paint chipped off and rust everywhere. Not a pretty sight :(

After sanding them down completely (~1.5 - 2 hours of work)

Applying masking tape to the tire.. yeah this part sucks

Cutting away the excess pieces of tape

Primer applied ^^

Spokes painted black, getting there :)

Masking the ends of the painted spokes...

More masking, another use for newspapers =D

Finished at last!

And heres the result, mounted on the car :3
